then the when the mongols invaded the russians the russians started eating them and traded them at the port of hamburg in germany where the germans cooked up the dish with local spices and shredded beef and would be smoked for long travels.the germans brought to us in the 1800's .Where it became hamburger steak and it showed up on the menu of new york Delmonico resturaunt.In the 1900's Americans put it on a bun.later people put on bacon and cheese and it became a bacon cheeseburger.
